    World Record Swimming award for Nottinghams Rosie Rudin.

    Team GB Head Coach, Bill Furniss travelled to Nottingham this week to present a certificate to Nova’s Rosie Rudin, to celebrate her breaking the Junior World Record for the 400 Individual Medley in Singapore back in August, recognised by the governing body FINA.

  • Kelsie to compete for Jamaica

    Kelsie to compete in Caribbean Championships

    Nova Centurion’s Kelsie Campbell has been selected to represent, Jamaica as part of the National Age Group Swim Team in the XXXI CARIFTA Swimming Championships to be held in Caribbean Island of Martinique from March 22-26, 2016.

    This is a massive milestone for 17 year old Kelsie who has been selected after achieving the qualifying standard established by the ASAJ Swimming Technical Committee for swimmers to participate in this prestigious Regional event. The event is a Fina approved qualifier of the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 and will be a prestigious event for the Islands

  • NOVA head to Cyprus for final preparations

    On a dark February morning some of Nova Centurion’s best swimmers including Paralympic Champion & medallist Ollie Hynd & Charlotte Henshaw left the Gatwick Airport and set off on the long journey to the warmer climate in Limassol, Cyprus on the clubs first off shore training camp since 2012. Despite the ungodly hour and the prospect of some immense hard work ahead of them the mood amongst the squad was incredibly buoyant with a great mix of Junior & Senior swimmers.

  • Podium finish for Andy at European Championships

    Andy Banks from the Nova Centurion disability squad competed in the European Down Syndrome Swimming Championships in Italy in November as part of Team GB. The competition was attended by 20 countries and over the four day competition Andy swam 8 individual events and 7 relay events.
